It is chilly in the winter months and who wants to get even colder in the sea? Have you ever thought about having a dip in sub 10 degrees water and laughed at the idea , thinking that isn't for me? Well this Chilly Challenge could be just the push you need to get you going. Cold water dipping is purported to be of great benefit to your health and well being.
What do you have to do? You only have to dip yourself in the water at least once a week throughout October, November and December.
You don't have to be alone, our Community Swim is every week throughout these months (Check our Facebook page and Solent Sea Swimmers Group for details) throughout those months and these swims/dips will count.
Do you think you could do that and win yourself a medal? Of course you could!!
An "Award Ceromony" will take place at On the Water, where we can all celebrate our accomplishment over a hot chocolate! If you can't make the award ceremony, we shall still award you at the next Community Swim!
