Solent Swim School was set up by Linda and Carol after a chance discussion in Carols kitchen. Within weeks we were booked up on our Safety Training courses, followed a few months later by a very intense Swimming Teachers Training Course. We were delighted and proud to have passed with flying colours. We were now doing what can only be described as the most rewarding job in the world! It never feels like work!
We are passionate open water swimmers. We have covered distances of up to 10km, but our most iconic swim was the Solent. We crossed from Ryde to Gosport in 2016 on an absolutely glorious day. It seemed appropriate to call our school after that swim and so Solent Swim School was born!
We have since trained in baby and preschool and also we are both trained in Advanced Aquaphobics.
We keep our lessons small and they are held in a small private pool.
